FIRST 6AM RUN COMPLETE
yaaaaaaaay

I DID IT
I woke up with cramps, too, so I feel pretty satisfied with my pace. They more or less went away while I was running, which for a moment had me tricked into thinking I had discovered thebest cure for cramps ever, but then they came back when I got home. Alas. Also this run began at 6:18* and I woke up for it at 5:38**, and I had never run this early before, so I will cut myself some slack.
My pace is all over the place, which is interesting to see—I’ve never had a way to check it before. I’m running through neighborhoods and do have to stop for cars/at crosswalks, but I think it’s mostly that I don’t know how to keep a steady pace. I’m also pretty amused by the peak and then dropoff over the last, what, .3 miles of the thing—that’s the home stretch, when the street I live on becomes visible and I’ve got a total of ~4 blocks to run.
ALSO, I did ten-rest-ten pushups without wanting to cry/tell the internet it was hard.
I probably should have eaten much sooner but now it’s time for BREAKFAST.

** because I definitely snoozed my phone once
